Giving Matters, and Every Cent COUNTS!

Contributing to the Latino Community Fund through workplace giving or a direct contribution ensures that your donation directly supports the Washington Latino community.

Giving as an Individual
As a community foundation, the Latino Community Fund deeply values the contributions of our individual donors. As an individual donor, you have the power to steer the future of philanthropy in the Latino community. From one dollar to thousands, our individual donations have recently enabled Latino Community Fund to launch our largest grant-making initiative in our organization's history. Together with your generosity and your deep commitment to promoting the strengths of our comunidad, we can continue to take the course of future giving in the Latino community to new heights.

Challenge Grants

LCF is a proud recipient of several challenge grants that maximize your individual contribution. With the generous support of partners such as the Kellogg Foundation Cultures of Giving Grants and the Marguerite Casey Foundation contributions from first-time donors and stretch contributions from current supporters are doubled! All you need to do is donate. We'll take care of the rest.

Young Latino/a Professional Giving Circle

$240 Annual Membership ($20 a month)
Philanthropic giving transcends divisions between all ages and professions as proved by the next generation of young philanthropists who are taking action to support their communities. Many young Latinos share a deep sense of pride and appreciation for Latino spirit and culture, yet they are unfamiliar with ways they can directly give back to their community. As a member of the Young Professional Giving Circle (YLPGC), you have the opportunity to join forces with a dynamic group of Latinos/as in the private and public sectors who share a passion for making a difference in their Latino communities. YLPGC members get a portion of their donation matched by LCF, receive access to invitation-only LCF-hosted seminars, workshops, and events pertinent to relevant issues impacting members and receive four discounted tickets to our Annual Latino Community Fund Summit and Awards Brunch in October.
Join our Young Professional Giving Circe today by contacting info@latinocommunityfund.org. LCF is currently accepting new members!

If not you, who?

While the Latino population in our state grows, investment from institutional philanthropic agencies has remained very small. According to the Foundation Center, although the United States Latino population is now over 13% BUT only 1.3% of philanthropic resources are going to Latinos! With your contribution, we can make an immediate difference. Please become an investor with your donation of any amount, and join others like you who believe that investing in the education, health, and a better life for Latino children, their families and communities is good for all the people in our State. Contributions made to LCF are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law (EIN 20-5987399).

Hispanic Northwest

In its first active year, the Latino Community Fund of Washington State granted $8,800 in awards to projects in the State. These awards helped 80 pre-school-aged Latino children receive quality early education, gave hope to over a 100 middle school youth to avoid gang activities, and helped 280 high school students prepare to enroll in college and plan for a better future.

In 2009, the Latino Community Fund is already poised to invest over $20,000 in successful programs that will ensure a better future for many more Latino youth, their families and communities. However we need your help because our goal is to invest over $50,000 in 2009.  Please join the Latino Community Fund with your tax-deductable contribution to make our shared vision for a healthy, educated, and vibrant Latino community more of a reality.
