LCF has granted needed capital funds to organizations in Washington that are effectively serving Latinos:
Para Los Niños de Highline – increasing the school readiness of Latino children ages birth to 5 years old Casa Latina - developing Latina entrepreneurs to become self-sufficient by establishing their own small businesses Consejo - preventing Latino youth from being recruited and initiated into gangs EWU MEChA - helping Latino high school students from around Washington State in the college enrollment process Latino Student Union of UW - developing leadership skills for high school students the Yakima Valley and encourage them to continue on to college

has secured a Kellogg Foundation grant that will match 100% of donations
from individuals up to $10,000
What is LCF planning on doing in the future?
LCF will continue to identify effective and accountable non-profits serving Latino’s in Washington state. LCF is organizing an annual summit with the goal of helping individuals and organizations working in the Latino community to network and collaborate with each other. LCF will provide training seminars for organizations and individuals (for example, workshops in grant writing, leadership, etc.)
