Latinos in Tech

Welcome to LCF's Latinos in Tech! Latino Community Fund is committed to diversity in the tech industry and supporting access to STEM and technology fields for under-resourced communities. We are a community-led collaborative focused on fortifying community leaders.

What to know!

The group was created in 2014 in collaboration with two community leaders, to provide the community with a space to innovate, develop, and connect with others. Our collaborative keeps community at the center of our work with the following core values of connect, share, and act.

We have over 1400 Members on Latinos in Tech Facebook Page and a LinkedIn Group with 470 members and growing! We now also post content on Instagram for youth to engage with information, resources, and opportunities.

Connect

Latinos in Tech is connecting students and professionals with opportunities to advance professionally. We foster a culture of community engagement and social responsibility.

Share

Sharing valuable resources and career/skill-based mentorship in collaboration with various sectors. As a collective, we offer networking mixers, hackathons, and workshops in partnership with tech companies, universities, startups, and nonprofits.

Act

Latinos in Tech advocates and supports expanding career pathways in STEM, advancing policies and (non/traditional) programs that prepare students of color, girls and young women, and students from rural and/or low-income communities for success through a strong STEM education.

Are you interested in sponsoring an upcoming event? Do you want to share an opportunity with the LiT community? Are you new to Seattle? Want to give back to the community? Let's connect!

Are you interested in sharing your story? We are looking for people interested in sharing their professional journey into the world of tech with our Latino community in hopes of inspiring future techies and honoring your contributions.
