This year's Annual Gala presents Brave Stories, a collection of stories highlighting community leaders who are making a difference in the community. Each week we will feature a new story of community leaders interviewed by Yesenia Ruiz. Daniela    

Daniela Murguia is a student at the University of Washington Bothell where she is double majoring in American and Ethnic Studies and Society Ethics and Human Behavior, with a minor in Diversity Studies, and Education and Society. Daniela has experience co-running and co-leading Undocumented Ally Workshops at various college campuses for students, staff and faculty educators. Daniela has served as a mentor and leader within the Latinx community specifically with Latinx and undocumented youth through different programs. Daniela joined Latino Community Fund as an Alianza Youth Leadership Organizer where she shares her passion for working with students of color on developing leadership skills around organizing, storytelling, and civic engagement.
